Gen 1:1    In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth.

While some cultures envisioned the earth on the shoulders of Atlas, sitting on a big turtle or a big elephant; God revealed a different picture to Job. Through scientific study we verified this.

Job 26:7 He stretches out the north over empty space; He hangs the earth on nothing.

Solomon writes:

Prov 8:27     When He prepared the heavens, I was there, When He drew a circle on the face of the deep,

Isaiah writes of the earth being round. In the middle ages it was believed to be flat.

Is 40: 22     It is He who sits above the circle of the earth, And its inhabitants are like grasshoppers, Who stretches out the heavens like a curtain, And spreads them out like a tent to dwell in.
